Nurse Director of Infection Prevention
Rocky Mountain Region
A wonderful 150+bed community hospital has started their search for a Director of Infection Prevention deep within the Rocky Mountain Region of the US. Oversees the overall direction, development, implementation and evaluation of Infection Prevention at the Hospital. Provides education and training to staff on infection control practices and techniques, assuring thorough education of clinical and other applicable staff in caring for patients. The Director of Infection Prevention reports directly to the VP of Patient Services.
Must possess 5-7+ years of Clinical and Management experience in Infection Prevention Services within an acute care facility. Also must posses a current state Nursing License that is in Good Standing and a be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards/compliance, accreditation standards, data management, and performance improvement methodologies related to Infection Prevention and Control.
