Perioperative RN Director
Rocky Mountains Region
A local not-for-profit community hospital has started their search for a Perioperative RN Director. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Perioperative RN Director has responsibility for the management and operation of the Hospital’s Surgical Services departments to include Pre-Admission, Operating Suites, PACU, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing. The Director is actively involved in initiatives to continually improve the patient care experience, staffing training, performance management, compliance and fiscal management of departmental assets. Liaison between other hospital departments and medical staff to ensure effective communication of patient care.
The leadership at the hospital would like to find a Perioperative RN Director who possess a Bachelors in Nursing with a Master’s degree in progress (in a related field) and a current state Nursing license. 10+ years of Clinical and Progressive leadership experience within an acute care facility. Able to practice within the guidelines of AORN Nursing process and standards.
