About the Hospital:  100+ bed hospital located in Washington State with a strong focus on serving its community. 


About the Position: 50+ FTE’s; 32 bed unit; Oversees the administrative duties of the Med/Peds Unit.  The Director has daily supervision and management over the staff of the unit. Participates in budgetary planning, expense management and equipment/supply ordering.  Consistently reviews and updates policy/procedures in as needed based on regulatory and hospital guidelines.

The Director will work in conjunction with the Surgical Unit Director to establish patient care in both units, share calls for both units and cover for one another when needed.  The Medical/Pediatric Director is part of the Nursing Administrative Team and reports to the hospital CNO.

Salary: $106,000 contingent on Experience & Education, Relocation assistance, and a comprehensive Benefits package.  (Washington does not have state income tax!)



  • BSN, required (Masters, preferred)
  • Current Washington RN License, required
  • 3+ years of Med/Surg Nursing experience, required
  • 3+ years of Leadership experience in Med/Surg (in an acute care hospital setting), required
  • Be able to speak to experience improving and sustaining patient safety and effective financial management skills.
  • Current BLS/ACLS, required

This is a beautiful location for those who enjoy outdoor recreational activities and offers big-city attractions with a small-town feel!  Less than an hour west of Olympia and just a little bit further to Seattle!
