About the Emergency Services Department

University Medical Center’s Adult Emergency, Pediatric Emergency, and Trauma departments have been growing as quickly as the Las Vegas community. UMC’s accredited and award-winning services include:

  • Accredited by Joint Commission as a Certified Primary Stroke Center
  • Accredited by the Committee on Trauma for Trauma Center
  • American Heart Association Gold Award for Heart Failure
  • American Heart Association Gold Award for Coronary Artery Disease
  • Society of Chest Pain Centers Accreditation
  • Comprehensive Hypothermia Program

The Trauma Center services the two million residents of Clark County and the 32 million visitors per year. Service area consists of 10,000 square miles including Southern Nevada, parts of California, Utah and Arizona. Compensation and Benefits

$140K along with great benefits to include: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, Pension, PTO, No State Income Tax, Recreational Discount Offers, and Tax Deferred Compensation.

 

Requirements

Qualified candidates MUST have a BSN and Master's and also MUST have 3-5 years of Director-Level experience within Emergency Services in a Level I Trauma Center.
