What inspires you about Nurses?

May 8, 2018 By

Happy Nurse’s Week!

To say thank you to all of the amazing nurses out there, we asked each member of our team; “What inspires you about Nurses?”

Nurses are selfless. It’s not about “what’s in it for them” it’s “how can they help you, your family, friends and neighbors”
– Tania Pena

I admire that nurses do a job more stressful than I can imagine, for long hours, and often short-staffed, day after day, and month after month.
– Tim Meyers

Nurses are inspiring in so many ways, however for me the #1 thing is the compassion that it seems each and every nurse I come across has. Whether it be a nurse on the floor of the Emergency Department, delivering babies, or watching over the critical care unit, they each have and show an unbelievable amount of compassion, and are able to convey that compassion to those that need it. It’s never about the nurse, and always about helping make folks in need feel as comfortable as possible during trying periods of time.
Adam Patterson

The selflessness it takes to care for those who are experiencing some very difficult circumstances concerning their health, as well as being there to console their patients’ loved ones during such trying times.
Adaeze Ekeanyanwu

The dedication they have to caring and helping those in need.
Rachel Kellar

They give so much of themselves to others.
Alison Holland

Based on my personal experiences, as well as getting to know hundreds of nurses/ nurse leaders over the past 4 years, what I find most inspiring is their willingness to sacrifice for the sake of their patients. I’d be hard pressed to identify a single nurse who hasn’t missed out on sleep, an event with their family/friends or personal time because their focus was on providing exceptional patient care.
Adam Saupe

Nurses bring warmth and compassion to people who are often concerned about themselves or loved ones. It’s not an easy task, but they always manage to brighten up those moments with their grace and skill!
Jason Isenhart

Nurses are really the face of the hospital. A good nurse can make your stay in a hospital easier.
Ginny Ganley

Nurses are an inspiration because they do it for the love of the profession.
Alex Nicolov

Sometimes your greatest strength can also be your greatest weakness. That being said, Nurses give their ‘all’ to the patient’s safety and well being. It always comes back to the patient, which means they are self-less. A trait to be admired!
Amy Jensen

Their compassion.
Chris Golding

Their amazing compassion and empathy. The ability to put the needs of others ahead of their own needs is something special and that few people can continuously do.
Sean Milius

Nurses are there for us in the moments we need the most help. I’m inspired knowing that when I’m in the hospital, a caring, dedicated nurse will be helping me every step of the way.
Jordan Parsons

Their passion and compassion for those in their care. The tireless, and often not recognized, value they bring to each family and the community at large.
Mike Duggan

Nurses have a willingness to embrace large, complex situations, to make a difference, to achieve success with delivering excellence in patient care while striving to work collaboratively with Staff at all levels.
Dinah Golding

We are so proud to work with nurses everyday. You truly inspire us to be better recruiters & people. To say thanks we also made this short video;
