Chief Nursing Officer

 

Location:  Western US

Facility Type:  Acute Care Hospital


The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at our hospital will provide visionary leadership to elevate nursing practices and ensure exceptional, patient-centered care. This role involves driving quality improvement, leading the transformation of patient care services, and fostering innovative care models and interdisciplinary collaboration. The CNO will support clinical nursing staff with career growth and professional development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal expectations. As part of the Executive leadership team, the CNO will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

 

Position Type/Expected schedule:

  • Onsite
  • Full-Time

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration and/or Business, required.
  • Current State Nursing License, required.
  • 3-5+ years in Executive Nursing Management/Administration/Operations experience, in an acute care facility,
  • 5-7+ Progressive nursing management over multiple Service lines, required   
  • Certifications: FACHE, NEA-BC and CENP
  • Current working knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement, and patient safety standards, required.
  • Experience working with rural health organizations preferred.
