The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging Services will play a vital role in ensuring that the diagnostic imaging services provided are of the highest quality. The successful candidate will have the experience, leadership skills, and clinical expertise necessary to manage a team and oversee the daily operations of the department. Position Summary:
Provides oversight of several cost centers with 75+ FTEs. Diagnostic Imaging Services encompasses both hospital-based and outpatient-based imaging centers. The manager has 24/7 oversight of programs, activities, and daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Diagnostic Imaging Services team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage the budget and resources for the department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient operation of the department.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with other departments and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, compassion, and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in imaging modalities, preferably in a comparable facility. MUST have inpatient experience.
- Two (2) years supervisory or leadership experience (e.g. responsibilities for major project(s)).
- Must be able to fit into the Hawaii culture, if relocating from the mainland.
- Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medical Technologist license or current certification by ARDMS (America Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, Master’s preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Generous compensation dependent upon experience. A relocation package including relocation allowance and housing stipend is available for out-of-state candidates. This position is eligible bonus structure, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
