Part of an already elite healthcare system, this brand-new campus will open the first quarter of 2025 and will be considered one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the country. Every room gives tech access to the patient to see who their doctors and nurses are, and each patient can control the room temperature, food options, and other individual preferences during their hospital stay. It is considered to be the “smart hospital of the future.”

This Education Director will be critical for providing strategic direction and operations that advance the delivery of patient care, education, research and professional practice. The ideal candidate will measure success by the educational program they are currently running within their acute care hospital, what innovative processes they have been exposed to, if they have been part of the Magnet Journey, and what processes and procedures they have put in place. Someone with accreditation and DNV experience in their background would be ideal as well.

This Director will report to the CNO, who has been part of this system for 27 years. She is considered to be a servant leader highly skilled in building relationships. This director will have around 4-5 direct reports, and must be capable of not only leading the team members around them, but working with stakeholders to ensure the campus is on their Pathway to Excellence.

Requirements: 

• RN and BSN Required, Master’s Degree in a healthcare related field required.
• Five years’ experience in education or staff development within an acute care hospital required, three of those years being in a clinical leadership role within an acute care hospital.
