Director of Emergency Services
Pacific NW – Mountains

25 bed Critical Access Hospital with a 24-hour Emergency Department has started a search for Emergency Service Director.  The Director has 24-hour oversight of the Emergency Department which includes patient care, patient education, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.   The Emergency Service Director will maintain financial stability of the department and facilitate an environment rich in staff development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.   This position reports directly to and works closely with the CNO.  

Stats:

• 3,000 visits annually
• 5 beds in ED
• 15-20 FTE’s

Education and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing,
• Current State Nursing License,
• MSN,
• 5-7+ years of Emergency and Trauma clinical and progressive leadership experience  
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC,
• State Trauma certification,
