This faith based, not for profit system has several hospitals in one of the largest metropolitan areas of Texas. They are consistently listed in U.S. News & World Report’s best hospitals, and they also have a leading academic medical center that is home to some of the world’s brightest physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.

This 350+ bed Magnet Campus is a recognized leader in several key service areas including neurology, heart and vascular, cancer care, orthopedics, and women’s services. They are also a Primary Stroke Center and a Gold Level Beacon Award for Excellence. They are looking for a Director of Finance who will report directly to the Hospital CEO, who has been with the system for over thirteen years!

The Director of Finance will be responsible for ensuring that the hospital’s finances run smoothly through strong internal controls, accurate reporting, policy enforcement, and continuous improvement of financial processes. They should actively look for ways to enhance automation and efficiency, and work closely with all levels of the organization as well as external vendors to support effective and streamlined service delivery.

Salary: The midpoint for this role is $155,000 as a base salary. This role also has a 14% management incentive bonus, an 8% deferred compensation plan, and will offer relocation assistance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance related field required. Masters required in related field. CPA, CFA, APS or APM strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of acute care hospital finance experience required, five years of people management experience required.
• Director level experience required for this role.
