Director of Human Resources  
Pacific NW

Position Summary:  

As a key strategic leader within our community hospital, the Human Resources Director drives initiatives that align people with dynamic organizational goals. This hands-on role requires a proven change agent who can navigate complex regulatory landscapes while fostering a resilient, people-first culture. The Director oversees a broad spectrum of HR functions including workforce planning and acquisition, benefits design, compensation strategy, labor, and employee relations, leave programs, and organizational compliance with employment laws and healthcare-specific regulations. With a strong command of policy development and implementation, this leader champions employee engagement and operational excellence, ensuring our hospital remains an employer of choice. This strategic position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources as a partner with all Human Resources driven initiatives and organizational planning.  

Job Type/ Schedule: 

• Onsite, In-person 
• Full time, Regular work week.  

Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business Administration,
• Master’s degree, preferred. 
• Credential: PHR/SPHR/GPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SCP, required.  
• 7+ years of Human resources experience in healthcare with oversight of all areas of a human resources department,
• 2+ years of progressive leadership in human resources experience required. Director-level experience is strongly preferred.  
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal,
• Previous experience interpreting and adapting new laws and regulations surrounding all areas of human resources for an organization

Compensation: $130-180k annually DOE, Generous Benefits, and employee perks.
