Director of Nursing Services

Immediate Care Center

Location: Pacific NW

Position Summary:

Lead a talented team of healthcare professionals at an Immediate care facility as their Director of Nursing Services.  As the Director of Nursing Services (DNS), you will ensure all nursing personnel are always performing productively and efficiently. Work with the Administrator to build training programs and operating policies that help the nursing staff meet goals that improve the overall performance of the healthcare facility.  Assists in formulating the budget and maintains efficient and effective departmental operations while required compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, laws, standards, and protocols. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. This position works closely with and reports directly to the Facility Administrator.

Care Center Stats:

• Daily Census: 15 residents
• 25 Direct Reports to DNS
• EMR: Moving to Cerner in 2023

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN), required
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), preferred
• Current state nursing license, required
• 6 months+ of recent working experience in a nursing facility
• 30 hours of “Nursing Administration” Continuing Education hours, required every two years.
• Clinical and Progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting,
• Able to mentor nursing staff on care, using evidence-based practices and standards
• High visibility in Center with both with patients and staff, required.
