We have partnered with one of the largest faith-based, non-profit healthcare systems in Texas to find them a Director of Physician Compliance and Privacy.

This Director will have oversight of four direct reports and more than 230 Physician offices throughout the system. They will be a key member of the System Compliance leadership team and be part of leading the initiatives related to the System Compliance operations, workplan and strategic objectives.

This person will report to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is looking for someone who proactively shares knowledge, creates self-sufficiency in the team, and who can hold staff accountable. They also need to be able to lean into challenging conversations with leaders, justifying compliance and privacy decisions with research-backed data that can tell a story as to why that decision was made.

This is a hybrid working schedule, with the expectation to live within the market. This schedule will vary based on the needs of the hospitals.

The salary midpoint for this role is 160k with a swing on either side based on years of experience and education. 

Requirements:

• Bachelors Required, Master’s Degree Preferred, JD Preferred
• CHC or CPCO Required Upon Hire
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance program management with expertise in federal and state regulations related to coding, documentation, billing practices, Medicare/Medicaid, and privacy.
• Must also have experience collaborating with regulatory agencies, developing practices to identify and assess areas of risk, and addressing potential violations of regulations and policies.
• Management experience in Physician Practice Compliance Program Required.
• Multi Hospital Health System Compliance Experience Required.
