This organization is looking for a Hyperbaric Services Technologist to join their team and assist in growing this new service line. The Hyperbaric Services Technologist will operate both multiplace and monoplace hyperbaric chambers. Ensure the safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of these chambers, providing high-quality patient care during Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Responsibilities will include preparing patients for HBOT, monitoring them during treatment, and maintaining accurate records. The Technologists will collaborate with medical professionals to treat conditions such as wound healing, decompression sickness, and carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, they will assist with clinical trials and participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest hyperbaric medicine techniques. This position reports to the Director of Hyperbaric Services.

 

Job Type/ Schedule:

  • Onsite, In-person
  • Full time, Regular work week.

 

Salary: Competitive Salary DOE, Generous benefit package and relocations assistance.

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent,
  • 1-2+ years of experience as a hyperbaric technologist using FDA approved Hyperbaric oxygen chambers,
  • 2+ years of experience working with patients in an acute care hospital or clinic setting,
  • Hyperbaric Medicine Certification: CHT or CHS,
  • Vocational/Medical Certification: EMT, LPN,RN, RT
  • Certification: CPR/BLS required. ACLS,
  • Experience with hyperbaric chamber operation, maintenance and safety protocols
  • Working knowledge and experience handling indications of HBOT, including wound care, decompression illness and CO2 poisoning,
