Inpatient Surgical Services Operations RN Manager  
Mid-west 

Join a not-for-profit Level 1 Trauma Center as their newest Inpatient Surgical Service Operations RN Manager. As the inpatient Surgical Services Operations RN Manager, you will oversee the personnel and resources to ensure the highest patient care is being provided by well-trained competent surgical staff in the most cost-effective manner. Create and manage the budget for the department as well as managing personal and professional growth for the department. Will build and maintain positive working relationships with the interdepartmental staff and physicians within the organization. The Manager will report to the Executive Director of Surgical Services at Main Hospital.

Inpatient Surgical Services Department Stats: 

• 24,000+ inpatient cases annually 
• # of Direct reports: 7 – Assistant clinical managers 
• # of suites – 26 OR suites and 2 Hybrid suites 
• Works closely with the Manager of SPD, Manager Paraesthesia Manager of Clinical Practice for inpatient/outpatient.   

Requirements:  

• BSN, required.  
• Master’s degree, required. 
• Current state RN License, required. 
• 4 years of Clinical Surgical Services experience in an acute care hospital, required. 
• 2+ years of management/supervisory experience required. 
• BLS and NRP, required. 
• CNOR certification, preferred.
