Position:
The Interim Concurrent Review Nurse conducts telephonic concurrent review of inpatient activities and is responsible for ensuring that member care is provided at the appropriate level, for the requisite length of time. This RN case manager/reviewer will be making sure that the care provided to a member will be provided in compliance with the health organization’s regulatory and contractual requirements. The Concurrent Review Nurse position varies in scope, complex, and will require a moderate amount of discretion and independent judgement.
Interim details:
- Basic knowledge of computers required.
- Able to work remotely, required.
- 5-month Interim assignment, to start. Possibility of extension.
- Must be a current resident of California, required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, from an accredited nursing program, required.
- Current California RN License, required.
- 3+ years of clinical experience working in Acute care/ER/ICU within an acute care facility, required.
- Experience working with skilled nursing facilities (SNF), long term care patient populations, preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply complex written regulations, guidelines, and other materials, preferred.
- Experience in Case Management, Utilization Management, or discharge planning, preferred.
- Experience working with Medi-Cal and/or Medicare populations, strongly preferred.

Salary: $55.00 per/hour
