This Regional hospital is too big to be small, and too small to be big! It is ranked in the “Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the United States” by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. It is the only hospital in Colorado with this recognition for seven consecutive years.

Right now is an exciting time to join the organization with a new ambulatory care center being built adjacent to the hospital, and will open in February of next year! The CEO is progressive and wants leaders with innovative ideas that can help continue the growth of the hospital and maintain excellent standards of care. They have a fantastic Interim CFO is will most likely turn to permanent, who has been with the team for several months and thinks he’ll call it home.

The Director of Finance will be instrumental in financial planning, business development strategy, reimbursement planning and analysis as well as be responsible for financial oversight for the hospital.  The Director of Finance will drive finance, accounting, audit and reimbursement process enhancements and margin improvements across the organization. Additional major functions include forecast planning, business development, cost reporting, payor contracting, revenue cycles, budgets, internal controls, auditing, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation and analysis. This position will be responsible for directing financial processes in concert with the Hospital’s Chief Financial Officer.

They would love an interim as soon as possible but would like to find a permanent solution as well. Whichever one you’d like to talk about, I look forward to telling you more!

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years financial management experience in a hospital setting.  Management experience is required.
• Experience as a director strongly preferred
