Interim, Interim-to-Perm: Patient Accounts Manager 
Mid-Western US 

Join a “Full Service” critical access hospital as their INTERIM Patient Accounts Manager to lead the hospital billing department in processing of complex claims, denials, collections, and the financial assistance program. Mentor and train staff on appropriate billing and timely reimbursement processes. Additionally, the Interim Patient Account Manager will manage department scheduling, process improvement, field technical questions and change management as needed. This position reports and works closely with the Director of Revenue Cycle. 

Interim Details: 

• 3-month assignment to start with an option to extend 
• Housing 
• Rental Car 
• In-person/remote schedule option after training. 
• Monthly trip home. 

Position Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or healthcare, required. 
• 2-3+ years of progressive leadership experience in health insurance billing required. 
• Highly skilled in all operations functions of Patient Accounts Services, required. 
• Proven experience setting up processes for new service lines and provider-based billing required.  
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital business department, strongly preferred.
