Medical Director/Primary Care

Medical Director/Primary Care role :

Medical Director is responsible for providing physician leadership in areas of Customer Experience, Growth, Performance, Communications, Physician/Hospital Relationships, Community Engagement and Quality. Assists with development and execution of organizational goals.  The Medical Director will be working directly with a patient population needing chronic disease management and preventive care.   The position reports to the System VP & Associate CMO and VP of Corporate Services.

Position Details:

• NHSC Approved Clinic
• Full time position. M-F (7:00am – 5:00pm)   
• 21k visits annually between three Primary Care facilities.
• 100% outpatient care with both adult and pediatric patients.
• 1 Physician, 3 APPs
• Call rotation shared by all providers.

License/Certifications/Experience:

• Doctorate (MD or DO) in Medicine required.
• Board certification or board eligible in Family Medicine, preferred.
• Active State medical license or ability to obtain.
• 3 years of as a practicing Internist or Family Medicine physician, required.
• Recent leadership experience within a medical practice, preferred.
• Calling/dedication for rural healthcare, preferred.
