As an MRI Technologist, you will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Your role involves operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnostics. You will interact directly with patients, conducting interviews, explaining the scanning process, and positioning them correctly on the exam table. Additionally, you will perform maintenance and calibration on MRI equipment, take patient medical histories, follow safety protocols, and manage data entry into electronic medical records. This position reports to the Director of Radiology

 

Job Type/ Schedule:

  • Onsite, In-person
  • Full time, Regular work week.

 

Salary: $70k-90K DOE, Generous benefit package and relocation assistance.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, required.
  • Current state license, required.
  • 1-2+ years of experience as a radiologic technologist, in an acute care facility or clinic setting, required.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in MRI imaging, in an acute care facility or clinic setting, required.
  • Certification: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and MRI(MR) or eligibility to obtain certification upon hiring, required.
  • BLS, required.
  • Expert knowledge of MRI equipment, techniques, and safety protocols, required.
