Nurse Manager:  Family Birth Center
Oregon

Join a community hospital as their Family Birth Center Manager, overseeing their fast paced, Women’s Services department.  The Family Birth Center RN Manager is responsible for all patient care activities, unit operation, and staff.  Ensures quality patient care by providing direct care (when there is a need) as well as supervising the care given by nurses and supportive staff. This position works closely with two amazing leaders in the Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer. 

Family Birth Center Departmental Stats:

• 20+ Direct reports, 3 OB providers and 1 midwife.
• Average 15-20 Births monthly
• Level IV Trauma center
• Low and moderate risk LDRP patients

Type of Work: Full time, Onsite

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing, required.
• Current Oregon RN License, required.
• 5 years of Clinical experience in an acute care hospital, required.
• 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience, required.
• Previous Maternity Services experience, required.
• BLS and NRP, required.
• RNC-OB and ACLS, preferred.
