Nurse Manager: Women’s Service Line

Join a not-for-profit renown healthcare system as the Nurse Manager: Women’s Service Line will oversee patient care services for the women’s health, obstetrics, and nursery care. Additionally, the Nurse Manager will establish policies/procedures, manage department staffing, and maintain budgets. Assists physicians and other departments with development of new services, identifying potential new sources of revenue and/or assisting in the marketing of existing and new programs. Facilitates evidence-based nursing by creating an environment that encourages utilization of evidence in practice and decision-making. This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and will work closely on the future remodel of the department to meet patient care needs.
Women’s Service Line Stats:
- 95+ Department FTE’s; Manager has 60 Direct reports.
- Average 160 birth’s monthly
- Level III Trauma Center
- 12 LDRP/triage beds – Future remodel planned with additional beds.
Type of Work: Full time, Onsite
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, required.
- Current RN State License, required.
- 2+ years of progressive supervisory/leadership experience in Women’s Services, required.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care facility, required.
- Advanced knowledge of nursing management concepts, clinical practice, and facilities policies and procedures, required.
