RN MANAGER – CATH LAB/EP LAB – EAST COAST LOCATION

JOB SCOPE:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
- 4 Cardiac Cath Labs (one used for EP) suites, offering the following services to adults 18 years or older:
- Cardiac catheterization procedures
- Device implants (permanent pacemaker implants, ICD implants, loop recorders)
- Electrophysiology studies/ablation procedures
- Peripheral stenting
- TEE/Cardioversions
- 13 bay pre/post patient care area
- Individualized, comprehensive orientation lasting 16 weeks to 6-months, depending on prior experience.
- EKG class, ACLS, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella training provided.
- Each staff member participates in the on-call rotation. (5 call teams)
- Hybrid OR where they do structural and vascular cases
Number of physicians—3 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, 6-7 Non-Invasive Cardiologists and growing
Procedures—Cath/EP Lab
- Cardiac catheterization procedures
- Device implants (permanent pacemaker implants, ICD implants, loop recorders)
- Electrophysiology studies/ablation procedures
- Peripheral stenting
- TEE/Cardioversions
Number of procedures/volumes—4,200 procedures annually (Cath & EP)
Team size—For Cath Lab 16 team members (4 Cath Techs & 12 RN’s)
Team size Cardiovascular – 33 (CV Techs, CV RNs, Echo Sonographers)
REQUIRED: RN License (Compact or ability to apply for state licensure)
BLS, ACLS, Stroke Certification
RN leadership experience
Collaborative team builder
