Typical Accountabilities for this role:
- New practice set-up and implementation of services
- Oversees enrollment, credentialing, and contract participation of practice physicians
- Develops relationships with perioperative services at the hospitals and serves as an advocate for surgeons and facilitates effective integration of surgeons into the workings of the periop department
- Partners in physician recruitment, expansion and marketing of new locations, service lines, and programs
- Work with Revenue Cycle and Internal Audit teams on audting and documentation/coding compliance
- Monitor physician performance related to compensation plan. Work with VP to ensure physician compliance and success
- Ensure quarterly reporting of physician productivity and bonus productivity accounting accuracy and timeliness

Requirements:
- Master’s in Healthcare Administration or business related field with preference for HCA
- 7-10 years physician practice healthcare administration in management role in medical group or large multi-specialty clinic
- Working knowledge of Epic, PowerPoint, Excel, and other business reporting systems
- Preference for certification as practice administrator through AAMM, MGMA, AMGA, CMP or FACMPE
- Highly desired – clinical background to know way around an OR (not required, but a PLUS)
