Interim Social Worker (Remote)

California

Join a community-based Healthcare organization looking for a Social Worker to provide intervention services to assist patients and their families to handle challenging social problems that accompany a variety of medical conditions or hinders recovery that supports quality of care, cost effective care that meets organizational objectives and regulations.  This position works closely with and reports to the Supervisor of Social Work.

Interim Details

• 3–4-month Interim assignment position. 
• Able to work remotely,
• Must be a resident of California,

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology or other fields related to social services, required.
• Master’s degree in social Worker, strongly Preferred.
• At least three years as a social worker in a health care setting; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• Possess a Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW), master’s Social Worker (MSW) issued by the California State board of Behavioral Science Examiners, required.
• Working knowledge or experience with Medi-Call or other government sponsored program strongly preferred. 
• Basic knowledge of the principles, practices and regulatory requirements of managed care strongly preferred.

• Basic knowledge of computers
