Supply Chain Department Manager (Healthcare)

Join a busy community hospital in Oregon as their Supply Chain Department Manager and help keep the materials moving!  This community hospital has been growing at a steady rate for a few years and has plans to continue offering outstanding patient care to their community well into the next decade.   

 

As the Supply Chain Department Manager, you will oversee the procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and services while maintaining inventory control, containing costs of inventory and asset management to include forms management; courier services; conducting specialized projects. The Supply Chain manager will supervise the Materials/Purchasing Department staff – 13 FTE’s.   This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.  

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management, Required. 
  • 3+ years of progressive management experience in materials management/supply chain, required. 
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental business principles, purchasing principles, inventory management, communication skills, computer literacy, required. 
  • Strong skill set with MS Office Spreadsheets and Database Query, strongly preferred. 
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare system and/or on a new build/expansion, strongly preferred.
