Position Overview:

As the Director, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care and effectively managing the nursing departments on a 24-hour basis. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, including performance improvement activities, infection control guidelines, safety measures, and more. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that the nursing services align with the organization’s goals.

Our ideal candidate embodies the organization’s mission, vision, and values while striving to achieve annual goals for Surgical Services and the Central Processing Department. You’ll be accountable for nursing care, financial outcomes, service quality, and human resource management within these departments. Your leadership will be instrumental in implementing performance improvement initiatives, maintaining infection control standards, and fostering a culture of safety.

Community Engagement and Collaboration:

Beyond the hospital walls, you will represent the organization positively and professionally in the community. Collaborating with medical and executive staff is essential to drive the effective execution of the medical center’s strategic plan. You will be a role model, embodying the mission, vision, and values.

Key Qualifications:

BSN required, Master’s preferred.

5+ years of Director-level leadership experience in Surgical Services.

CA state license required.
