Transitional Year GME Program Director (Internal Medicine)

Do you have a passion for sharing your knowledge and mentoring future doctors to prepare for their residency programs?   Here’s a chance to build a robust and broad program from the ground up as we seek a dynamic Internal Medicine Physician to join the GME Program as TY Program Director as we add to existing cohorts of family medicine, internal medicine, surgical residency and emergency residency programs with oversight of 10-12 residents each year in TY Program slated for launch July 2024.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MD/DO with board certification in internal medicine
• 3 years of documented educational and/or administrative experience
• Experience in conducting clinical research
• Ability and passion to mentor residents on research projects
• Collaborative and positive leadership style
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Program development experience (preferred)

FTE structure:

• .3 TY Program Director
• .3 Associate Program Director/Internal Medicine
• .4 Clinical /Hospitalist
