Women’s Services Director
Texas, Texas | Permanent
This is part of a faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare system that has been named by Modern Healthcare as one of the fastest-growing health systems in America! I have placed with this system several times and can tell you about their financial viability, their culture, and their constant aim towards excellent patient care.
This Magnet 300+ bed teaching hospital has a new 40,000-square-foot, $71 million emergency department expansion! Their busy, growing hospital features a newly renovated intensive care unit and a Level III Advanced Trauma Center. This is a Grade A Hospital from Leapfrog and a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by the Joint Commission.
The Director will have oversight of a recently multi-million dollar invested women’s service line including labor and delivery (14 beds), post-partum (40 beds), and an 8-bed level 2 NICU. The labor and delivery department does about 800 births a year, so someone who can assist with increasing volume is highly desirable. The CNO wants to find someone equally passionate about building strong patient and employee relationships. This person should have strong operational acumen and can foster strong OB relationships.
Requirements:
- RN and BSN Required, Master’s Degree in a healthcare related field required.
- Seven years of women’s services experience required, three of those years being in a clinical leadership role within an acute care hospital also required.
- Director-level experience strongly preferred.
