This is the largest faith-based, non-profit healthcare system in Texas, and has over 52 campuses spread throughout the market! I have placed with this system several times and can tell you about their financial viability, their culture, and their constant aim towards excellent patient care. 

This 600+ bed Magnet Hospital is one of the largest campuses in the state. They are the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the region and provide the highest level of care to the community. They are looking to add a tenured Director of Critical Care to have oversight of an exemplary team of healthcare professionals.

The Director will have oversight of a total of 75 critical care beds in the STICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and CTICU. They ship out burns but are able to handle every other critical care situation that comes their way. The Director will have 205 FTEs and be supported by a solid management staff. This campus has no travelers; as a matter of fact, there is a waiting list of people to work here!

This Director will report to the Vice President of Patient Care who has a background in critical care, so she understands the specialization that you will have oversight of. She is a servant leader who believes in inspiring others through innovation and evidence.

Requirements:

• RN, BSN Required. Masters in healthcare related field required.
• Ten years of experience in critical care required, five years in a clinical nurse leadership position required.
• Must have director level experience due to the size and scope of role.
