Director of IT

Rocky Mountain Region

A growing, community-focused hospital is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead IT strategy and operations. This onsite leader will oversee a small, close-knit team while building strong partnerships across the organization.

This is an ideal opportunity for a collaborative, visible IT leader who understands that technology is about more than systems. This individual will work closely with physicians, clinical teams, and leadership to understand their needs, prioritize technology initiatives, and ensure IT supports the hospital’s continued growth and patient care.

Role Highlights:

• Onsite, community-focused opportunity
• Lead IT strategy and operations & develop a multidisciplinary team of ~20 FTEs
• Oversee IT governance, project prioritization, cybersecurity, analytics, and continued optimization of Cerner
• Support technology needs surrounding organizational growth, new clinical services, and revenue cycle optimization

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, project management or equivalent
• Prior healthcare or hospital IT experience
• 6+ years Information Technology experience
• 4+ years Project Management experience

Preferred:

• Master’s degree, Information Technology certifications and/or Project Management certifications
• Experience with Cerner EMRs
