Healthcare – Director of IT

Pacific Northwest

A growing Critical Access Hospital is seeking a forward-thinking Director of Information Technology to lead both the strategic vision and day-to-day operations of its IT department.

This is an ideal role for an experienced IT leader who enjoys building strong teams, driving meaningful changes, and staying at the forefront of innovation in a healthcare setting. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of technology within the organization while helping lead major initiatives in AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and system optimization. This is an On-Call position. 

In This Role, You Will:

• Lead the organization’s IT strategy, operations, and enterprise technology systems, including the EHR, ERP, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
• Drive technology modernization initiatives, including AI, cybersecurity enhancements, and organizational growth projects
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technology and informatics teams
• Partner with executive, clinical, and operational leaders to deliver innovative technology solutions

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience), required
• 5+ years of healthcare IT leadership experience, including Director-level people management
• Experience with Epic or another enterprise EHR platform
• Strong background in healthcare infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, ERP systems, and Microsoft technologies
• Proven success leading technology projects, organizational change, and team development
• Creative forward thinker and cutting-edge IT leader needed
